Is this suitable for patient health information?
Document content is sent to the OpenAI API in both of our options. If your documents contain protected health information, discuss your compliance requirements with us before sending any files. We do not claim HIPAA compliance on this page.
How long is data kept?
On the service, documents are sent to OpenAI via the API for extraction. OpenAI API data may be retained in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days per its policy, and documents are handled according to our data-processing practices.
